Another New Years party look…
Birney’s look is a repeat from the last post and my look includes an A.B.S. dress, vintage drop earrings, and a vintage snakeskin clutch.
Beauty Note: Birney’s lovely pale pink pout is YSL Rouge Volupté #30, and I’m sporting YSL Rouge Pur Couture #2, a rich berry shade. Additionally we are both donning different versions of a ’60s cat eye. Birney’s is more dramatic which pairs nicely with a subtle, nude lip. Mine is much more understated, on the other hand, so as not to overpower my bolder lip color. Both pairings make for great party looks!
Model Stretch! Ha!
How low can you go?

Meet the lovely, charming, and beautiful Ms. Birney Robert. We are proud to know her and call her a dear friend and feel very lucky to have styled and photographed her. It was almost too easy though. I mean look at the canvas we had to work with! Flawless!
Here we have styled her in a New Years Eve party look with obvious 1920s-glam undertones. There were honestly too many beautiful shots to narrow it down to only a few, so we just decided to say, “To hell with it! Let’s show them all!” And so we are.
We hope you enjoy…
The Look: dress, T by Alexander Wang ; white fox fur stole, my (Ali’s) grandmother’s; jewelry, a mix of vintage finds and family heirlooms; clutch, vintage; boots, Nine West. (Clutch and dress both model’s own.)

My (Ali) sister Katharine and I had a quaint little Christmas Eve Eve dinner at H. Harper Station in Atlanta last night, and naturally I had to snap some shots.
She looked so sharp with her coat draped about her shoulders, and her new and ADORABLE Sorel boots. I love the way she paired casual winter duck boots with a cocktail dress and wool coat. Effortless and chic.
We had some really yummy cocktails which I captured as well–spiked cider, because well, tis the season, and the ever-popular “Bufala Negra,” an amazing concoction of buffalo trace, basil, brown sugar, balsamic, and ginger beer. YUM.
Merry Christmas Eve and Happy Hanukah!

What is it about the holidays and sparkle that pair so well together?
I suppose one can liken dressing oneself with a bit of glitz to putting up holiday decorations, candles, or lights.
There is something fun about employing a bit of sparkle this time of year, which inspired us to photograph some chic holiday looks.
To get things rolling, here is a sneak peak of some holiday bling that we’re going to incorporate into our featured looks in the days ahead.
We hope you enjoy!

Ok, so I know that we promised to feature a best-dressed beau of the week, but sadly we couldn’t come up with one! Come on men of Atlanta, it’s time to step up your style game! Bust out your flashiest duds for the week ahead! Pretty please?!
So in the meantime and in between time, we’ll just have to feature another fabulous gal…Meet Erin D. (not to be confused with Erin V. from the last post!)
We are loving her chic and quirky take on menswear. Playful and streamlined, all wrapped up into one look. The best of both worlds.

Blake and I have decided to create a new weekly addition to our blog…hooray!
Our picks for best-dressed belle and beau of the week. Here we’ll feature the lovely people we encounter throughout the week and their even more lovely ensembles.
This week, we are featuring two belles to get things rolling. Be on the lookout for our best-dressed beau later on in the week however!
We are delighted to introduce to you Berly and Erin–two chic gals who give us alternate ways to rock a pencil skirt and a button-down on any given day.
We hope you enjoy!
